In these extremely challenging times, there have been numerous ways that individuals and businesses have looked to support our amazing front line staff. From, special ‘stay at home’ camping and ‘camp outs’ across the country, to the incredible Captain (now Colonel) Tom who at the age of 100 raised over £30m by walking 100 laps of his garden.

Now, a number of businesses have come together to give further support, but this time in a slightly different way – to provide some well-earned rest for when this is all over. We are asking the public for nominations of “NHS staff and Care Workers” to be winners of a short break in the great outdoors at a luxury location and with the soulful experience of cooking on wood over the most innovative of cooking stoves.

Tim and Karen Rhodes of Aquaforno have been developing their ultimate outdoor cooking stove over the last few years and have teamed up with the UK’s largest supplier of British kiln dried logs, Certainly Wood to provide winners with not only a brand new Aquaforno cooking stove but also all the firewood you need to keep it well fuelled along with their recently launched KindleFlamer natural firelighters. Up to four lucky winners will each have the stove and fuel delivered to their home so that they can enjoy it during the coming summer months.

Each site has kindly donated a short break staycation and starting on the 8th May, every week, for a minimum of four, a lucky winner will be drawn for the chosen location in that week. It is hoped that winners, having fallen in love with their Aquaforno stoves will be taking it with them because Certainly Wood will be delivering more logs to the holiday location, especially for the winner to use on site!

Not only will we be supporting this great initiative, but each of the participators will be promoting this and encouraging people to nominate any member of NHS staff or care worker for entry into these wonderful prize draws. So, don’t delay we must all know of so many special people that deserve to win, so just follow this link to make your nomination.

Although he’s 64 yrs old and has artificial hips and a knee he’s always always there doing his bit. His artificial joints are due to him previously doing 25 years in the army. I think he’s deserves a small treat thanks, for giving me the option of nominating him.
