We supply our 100% British kiln dried logs, Ready to Burn approved, throughout Bristol from our production facility in Hereford, so not many miles away, just across the Severn Bridge. Having firewood that is kiln dried makes perfect sense if you are planning to order in bulk due to the size and weight. Being so dry, the wood is lighter so you are not buying water! We supply in a range of sizes from bulk bags of 1.6m3 or 0.8m3 to pallets of small bags, ranging from 30 bags to 80 bags per pallet. If you are in a townhouse, small bags can be a lot easier to handle than loose logs in a bulk bag - just something to consider when making your purchase.

Certainly Wood logs are all dried in our unique wood fired kilns, down to below 20% moisture content which will ensure you will have maximum heat output and for optimum value. Seasoned logs may be cheaper, but will not only have far less heat output, but also not permitted for burning in smoke control areas such as Bristol. You are only permitted to burn Ready to Burn approved firewood and only in a Defra Exempt or ‘clearSkies’ approved appliance (higher than Level 2).

All our firewood is 100% British, sourced from local woodlands and delivered direct to our factory in Hereford where it is kiln dried in less than 60 hours down to below 20% moisture content so perfect for wood burning stoves. It is also approved under the Woodsure ‘Ready to Burn’ scheme and therefore guaranteed quality. Other Bristol firewood suppliers may well be offering kiln dried logs in wooden crates, but this is almost certainly a sign that they are imported from Eastern Europe. How long does delivery take to Bristol?

All our deliveries are made with our national carrier partner and delivery is made within 3-5 working days although we can deliver on a Premium next day service if required, albeit at a small extra charge.
