Our premium kiln dried firewood is supplied throughout Norfolk. It is all approved under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme. Kiln dried firewood is perfect, particularly for woodburning stoves, but also open fires. We offer a range of bulk bag sizes from 1.6m3 to 0.8m3 along with a range of pallet sizes of small bags, which can make for a more convenient delivery particularly if delivery is difficult.

Certainly Wood’s logs are all dried down to below 20% moisture content ensuring the most efficient burn, with minimal smoke and maximum heat output. More heat, means less logs required. The kilns are fired on wood waste and much of the electricity comes from solar panels.

There are other suppliers of kiln dried logs in the Norfolk area, but make sure you are buying British firewood so look for the Grown in Britain logo. All our firewood is British, sourced from sustainable British woodland. A lot of kiln dried logs are sold in wooden crates and most likely these come from Eastern Europe. It might be dry, but it has travelled a long way and if it’s silver birch or alder, then it will burn about 20-30% faster so perhaps not such good value.

How long does delivery take to Norfolk?

Delivery to Norfolk is free and will take approximately 3-5 working days from the date of order, but if you need it faster, Express delivery is available at a small premium.
