OVERVIEW

Pallet size: 30 small plastic bags on a pallet

Volume: 30 bag pallet is equivalent to approximately 0.84m3 loose-filled volume. See stacked volume comparisons here.

Log size: 25cm (9 ¾") Tolerance on length is +/- 10%

Log Diameter: 5 -15cm (2 “ 6") measured across the widest point of the log.

Log Species: Mix of hardwoods, primarily oak, beech and ash

Log moisture content: Below 20%

Best For: Woodburners, open fires and multi-fueled stoves, but also great for wood-fired hot tubs, pizza ovens and firepits.

Recommended Products: Three boxes of kindling, one box of 50 natural firelighters, or two packs of 18 KindleFlamers.

Storage: The logs will still contain some moisture  (albeit a low moisture content), and if theyre stored in a humid environment, they can sweat inside the bag. Because of this, we recommend decanting the logs and storing them somewhere where there is good airflow. Please note that if the bags are stored somewhere dry and cool, the logs should remain in optimal condition and can be stored in the plastic bag.

With its 30 convenient bags, this pallet offers a slight increase in volume compared to the traditional 0.8m³ bulk bag (loose filled volume is 0.84m3). The small plastic bags make it easy to transport and store in dry conditions, ensuring maximum convenience.

For optimal performance, we recommend pairing this pallet with three boxes of kindling and one box of 50 Flamers natural firelighters, or one box of 50 KindleFlamers.

Our logs are meticulously dried in wood-fired kilns, reducing the moisture content to an average of 20% or less (as per the Ready to Burn Scheme). This is the largest amount of kiln dried logs for home delivery and is much more volume than the large bulk bag which contains the equivalent of 58 small bags. This is a large pallet so needs to have excellent delivery access “ smooth level surface for unloading. If not, we recommend the bulk or 50 bag pallets.
