What size are your crates and how much wood will I receive?
Our kiln dried hardwood log crates are available in three sizes: medium, large & extra large.
Each crate is tightly packed with neatly stacked logs, providing excellent value with minimal air gaps. Due to the consistent shape and uniform stacking, crates contain significantly more wood than loose-filled builders’ bags or barrow bags. All our logs are kiln dried to an average moisture content of below 20%, meaning you’ll get maximum heat output with every burn.

Are your logs suitable for all types of stoves and open fires?
Yes, our kiln dried hardwood logs are ideal for wood-burning stoves, open fires, fire pits, chimineas, and wood-fired ovens. The logs are cut to a standard length of 25cm, which fits 99% of the UK's woodburning stoves. The dry, dense hardwood ensures a clean, consistent burn with minimal smoke and ash.
What crate is in the bundle?
It’s our mixed hardwood crate. Neatly hand-stacked with a mix of premium kiln-dried hardwoods, most commonly oak, ash, and birch, this crate provides a convenient and versatile solution in a compact format. The natural variation of species ensures a balanced burn: some logs light more easily to get the fire started, while denser woods deliver a longer, hotter burn to sustain the warmth. All logs are dried to below 20% moisture content, giving a clean and efficient burn with minimal smoke, making them suitable for wood burners, open fires, and outdoor fire pits.
What size logs are in the crate?
We have 25cm logs available in all crate sizes, which fit 99% of the UK's woodburners. If you prefer a larger log, we do offer 35cm logs in our medium and large options.
Do the crates arrive weather-protected?
Yes, the crates will be pallet wrapped and will include a crate topper to protect them from rain.
What do I do with the leftover crate?

-
Chopped into kindling or smaller firewood, safe and burn-ready
