FAQs

What size is the 1.6m³ bulk bag?

The 1.6 m³ bulk bag is our largest bag option and contains a generous volume of kiln-dried hardwood logs, ideal for households that burn frequently throughout the winter months. The equivalent stacked volume is 0.96m3, based on Woodsure guidelines. The logs are supplied loose in a reusable bulk bag and delivered on a pallet.

How is the Large Bulk Bag Bundle Delivered?

The Large Bulk Bag Bundles are delivered on a pallet by our national carrier and qualify for free UK mainland delivery as a bulk order. At checkout, you'll be able to choose your preferred delivery date, with the earliest available dates typically from 3-5 working days after ordering. As it's a palletised delivery, you'll need clear, level access so the driver can safely position the bag, and it's best to be available in case they need guidance on where to leave it. Premium AM/PM timed delivery slots are also available at an additional cost if you require a more specific delivery window. Read more in our delivery guide.

What is included in the Large Bulk Bag Bundle?

The Large Bulk Bag Bundle Includes a Large Bulk Bag (1.6m3) with 8 Boxes of our Kiln Dried kindling and 200 Flamers natural firelighters, giving you everything needed to light and maintain a fire through a full winter without ordering logs, kindling and firelighters separately. Ash has a calorific value of around 19 MJ/kg, lighting more easily than oak while still giving a reasonably long burn.

Who is this Large Bulk Bag Bundle best suited to?

Our Large Bulk Bag Bundle is ideal for households that regularly enjoy a real fire and want to keep well stocked throughout the colder months. With plenty of kiln-dried logs to hand, it's a great choice for frequent log burner users, larger households or anyone looking to get ahead for winter and reduce the need for regular top-up orders.

If you have the space to store your logs somewhere dry and well ventilated, this bundle is a convenient way to keep your firewood supply topped up and ready whenever you need it.

Is the Large Bulk Bag Bundle covered by the Money-Back Guarantee?

Yes, the Large Bulk Bag Bundle is covered by our Money Back Guarantee. The kiln dried logs, kindling and Flamers included are all covered, so if any component doesn't meet its stated specification, you're entitled to a full refund on claims made within around 3 months of delivery.
